Bayern Reach UCL Semis With Victory Over Arsenal

Lewandowski Leads Bayern to Comfortable Win

Champions League News

Bayern Munich have reached the semi-finals of the Champions League after a comfortable 3-1 win over Arsenal at the Allianz Arena on Thursday night.

The German giants were in control from the start and took the lead in the 23rd minute through Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker doubled Bayern's lead in the 35th minute with a stunning free-kick.

Arsenal pulled a goal back through Alexis Sanchez in the second half, but Bayern restored their two-goal lead through Thomas Muller in the 89th minute.

The win extends Bayern's unbeaten run in all competitions to 19 matches and they will now face Real Madrid in the semi-finals.

Bayern were without several key players for the match, including Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and Jerome Boateng, but they were still too strong for Arsenal.

Lewandowski was in inspired form for Bayern and he now has 16 goals in the Champions League this season.

Arsenal were poor for much of the match and they will be disappointed to have been knocked out of the Champions League at this stage.

The Gunners have now lost their last four matches in all competitions and they will need to improve their form quickly if they want to finish in the top four of the Premier League.
